Light Source

High Quality products and excellent lighting effect are our considerations when designing Aero’s fixtures.

CREE

Aero Light has high standard on selecting the light source, all the fixtures above 6W are with Cree light source, MacAdam 2 step only. CRI 90+ will makes the whole hotel interior and exterior more colorful and vivid. The lifespan of our fixtures are 50000 hours, and after 50000 hours, the lumen can still have 80% of the full brightness.

OSRAM

Osram light source is chosen for fixtures lesser than 6W. We select 1 bin only for Macadam 3 step. That’s how AERO can control the colour consistency of light source from different brands. CRI90+ is maintained throughout our light source to ensure life-like vibrant colours that lights up object vividly. The lifespan of our fixtures are 50000 hours, which thereafter, is still able to maintain 80% of the original brightness.

Epistar

Epistar SMD light source is chosen for all linear and strip lights. We select 1 bin only for Macadam 2 step. That’s how AERO can control the colour consistency of light sources from different brand. CRI90+ is maintained throughout our light source to ensure life-like vibrant colours that lights up object vividly. The lifespan of our fixtures are 50000 hours, which thereafter, are still able to maintain 80%+ of the original brightness.

Why is CRI so important in LED lighting?

As stipulated by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), the color rendering index (CRI) is made up of 14 colors (R1 to R14), and the Ra CRI, the version used in China contains 15 colors (R1 to R 15) by adding the complexion of Asian women into the scale. R1 to R8 are called “the typical display index”, and the average of their sum is known as “Ra”, that is, “the average color rendering index”. R9 to R15 are called “the special color rendering index”, among which, R9 refers to saturated red, and it is an indicator measuring the ability of a light source to accurately reproduce the red color of the object it illuminates. The larger the value of R9, the greater the ability.

All the light source used in Aero products are with CRI90+ standard. MacAdam 2 step or single bin 3 step are selected to ensure the high color consistency.

Heat Dissipation

The light engine is technically designed for heat dissipation so that even the fixture is small in size, all the heat can be well dissipated which ensures the LED chip working within the safe temperature. The lifespan of Aero fixtures is 50000 hours, with light decay within 20% after 50000 hours.

Salt-spray test

All the products of Aero are with professional salt-spray test especially for resort projects and sea-side projects. Level 9 standard salt spray test is applied with 8-24 hours for all the products which make them free from seawater immersion, corrosion, typhoon and high tide.

Independent R&D for light optics

IES files will be tested in the photometric lab of Aero after a new product is developed. With this, the lighting designers can use the IES files to simulate in Dialux.

Aero Light Control System

Easy Scenario Setting and Switching

With Aero Intelligent Lighting Control Systems, we can control easily for single fixture or a group of fixtures in App. Scenary setting and switching is also very convenient on App, which can meet up the requirement of different time and events. Also all the setting up can be synchronized to the Aero Light Tracker or wall panel easily. With App control, it will only took 3 seconds to switch the scenary.

Easy Operation

Aero has professional terminal software development team which developed Aero Intelligent Lighting Control Systems App, making the operation and control more easy and convenient.

Warm Dimming & Tunable White

Warm Dimming and Tunable White products are also available in Aero, which are equipped with Aero Dimmable drivers and Aero Intelligent Lighting Control Systems. Brightness and Color Temperature can be controlled easily according to the requirement of the project, providing more flexibility for designer and owners to have more scenaries in one area.

Dimming System

Aero fixtures are workable with Triac/ 0-10V/ Dali dimming systems. Also before mass production, we’ll have Aero fixture and drivers to be tested with appointed dimming system module in advance, so that fixtures supplied to site are with smooth dimming.
